I used these poles to create a canopy for my Coleman Skydome with Full Fly Vestibule. The tent doesn't come with poles for this, and it's not even mentioned, but it's easy if you have those poles, two tie-down cords, and two tent pegs. However, if you use all five sections, the front of the dome will be too high. Rainwater collects at the top of the canopy. I have found that using four sections and angling the poles results in a canopy that allows rainwater to drain away from the tent from the front. See attached photo.
