I bought this to use as a second monitor on my 2015 MacBook Pro and it works great! I wanted a smaller screen, not the usual bulkier screen I wanted to use on my small desk in my bedroom. I love that it comes with 3 different connection cables already so I had no problem plugging it directly into my MacBook. I would still suggest getting a longer HDMI cable as I like having enough room to move devices around my desk, but that extra cable is only around $6 at Revain. Anyway, I like this display, it's very easy to set up.
