I own and run a security company so we use it every day. I ordered a whole bunch for the company because nobody had body cams and I wanted to make it mandatory. That being said, I'm not a guy who had a camera and had a problem one day. I can't stand the battery in these things. Maximum 30-40 minutes per battery. I feel like they were better in the beginning but all my boys have problems with dead batteries, they have chargers in the car and at home. You can't buy a battery, so you have to buy additional cameras for more batteries, which I did. I have a few extra cameras laying around (stuff happens and they slow down or get lost) but my boys have 3-4 batteries and they can't record an incident without dying. It makes life difficult. So now I'm looking for new cameras from another company because I need something reliable. Image quality is good. To be honest I have no complaints about day or night shots. My day has color, I don't know why another review had this issue, but who knows, maybe next time I'll look into it. All in all, don't waste your money on this. They won't last long and I'm tired of buying more and more. At this point, I could probably replace each body cam a few times.
