We've had these shoes for a few months now and they're holding up great! As others have said, you will most likely have to cut off your tongue to place it on your little one's foot. My friend has a big leg. I cut as much as possible so the cut is not visible and loosen the laces as much as possible and we can tighten them. They are adorable and seem comfortable.
