Definitely not suitable for locks

Yesterday I fitted this lock to the door of a van without a key. A new password wasn't required, so I left it. And last night we closed the door and locked our van. Tried disassembling it, didn't work. Then we had to go outside and unlock it. It took a while, but we managed it. There is no support number to call a box or paperwork. Should have seen the "China" problem.
