I bought the projector at the end of last year because I needed it urgently and didn't have time to study it. It was ok and served its purpose, but it wasn't great. This projector, on the other hand, blows it away. The picture is much bigger, brighter, sharper than the other. After launching it and plugging in my Fire Stick, you could tell it was a big improvement. (For some reason the stick doesn't play volume through the projector, but I connected a BT speaker and it's perfect. Also, you can't adjust the volume with the remote, only with the buttons on the speaker itself, but it's my fault that on the stick! ) My kids love that we can now watch movies in the open air even if we're stuck at home. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a true 1080 projector, this is without a doubt a good option.
