I bought a Verbatim disc (48x12x48) which Verbatim Technical Support says is a relabeled CenDyne. I also chose the CenDyne DVD-ROM. What mistake! The CD-RW drive with Nero Burn works with CD-Rs, but not with all CD-RWs. I've tried different CD-RW brands like HP, TDK and even Verbatim but always get a "Medium Speed Error". The same disc works in my old TEAC CD-RW drive, which by the way is always quiet and reliable. The DVD drive is noisy and the disc rattles at high speed, although the same disc produces no sound. in my TEAC CD-RW or NEC CD-ROM drive. Anyway, for my next ride I will definitely go back to a decent brand like NEC or TEAC.
