Review on TUFFY Ultimate Flyer, Durable Dog Toy (Red Paw) by Brian Forbis
Not as tough as I had hoped.
I bought this to replace one of the old nylon "flyer" discs that was easily shredded up by my dogs. This one was definitely much more durable, but the edge of it was still shredded and ripped open when my dogs started to play tug with it. The outer edge has a large lip on it like a regular frisbee which gave the dogs a better hold. I think if the seam was more flat like the Tuffy Tug of War toy, which I also have, it would've held together.
- Does not easily break or shatter like other toys.
- Can be too rigid for some dogs to play with comfortably
