I rarely buy cross stitch kits but I wanted to make this design for a friend. I was very pleasantly surprised to see beautiful threads that resemble silk threads in color and quality. I just loved them and the picture on the internet doesn't really do them justice so I've attached some pictures. Be warned, the fabric in the kit only allows for an allowance of about an inch per edge from the finished edge. This makes it difficult to crop and stretch the finished image. In any case, I prefer to work on linen, so I replaced it with a piece of fabric with a 3 inch allowance on each edge. I hate putting in all this work and not being able to frame properly. The price of the kit is incredibly cheap so I don't feel "cheated" for having to provide my own fabric (and I can use fabric that has arrived for other projects, it's good quality too). In fact the thread alone will cost more than the kit, I think it's worth it.
