1. Do you need a bluetooth keyboard?2. Want a keyboard that doesn't click?3. Do you think Microsoft's success with the Surface means that the "Surface Keyboard" is of good quality, especially given that it's expensive? This keyboard satisfies point 2 above. It can satisfy #1 depending on your needs. That's not enough. #3.For the background, I like keyboards that click, like the ones with CherryMX switches. So nice to print. However, it's not as comfortable for the other participants in the conference call where the clicks penetrate the audio. So I wanted a clickless Bluetooth keyboard that would eliminate the annoying beeping when on the phone or in a web meeting. I figured that Microsoft's success with the Surface tablet meant they would make a quality Surface keyboard. I was wrong. As a caveat, it's decent enough in a way: it's nice to have a full-size keyboard. The keys are nice and quiet for calls/web meetings. It uses AAA batteries (if you want to replace batteries instead of charging the keyboard and/or wearing out the built-in battery - that would be a downside for those who like rechargeable keyboards). The problem I had was switching the Surface keyboard between two different laptops. It worked for a while. Then he began to work occasionally. Now it only connects to a laptop. Worst of all, the laptop it won't connect to was the only reason I bought the Surface Keyboard. I've tried quite a few searches and fixes, but nothing has helped. Also, it's most likely not a Bluetooth issue on my Lenovo T15g laptop, at least insofar as Bluetooth works with a Logitech MX Master 2S mouse that I'm switching between the same two laptops (I made sure it works while I wrote this test). Keyboard can suit you. However, I would recommend a different keyboard based on my problem.
