When I received this, I was very pleased at first. But then, of course, when the electricity went off due to a thunderstorm and we moved to a cafe, we needed to charge our phones and batteries. Not only were the USB ports not working properly, this part of the device got EXTREMELY hot. It was so hot that it was difficult to touch him without taking your hands away. So hot that I was surprised it didn't have some sort of internal shut down protection device. I NEEDED to charge my phones to deal with this emergency and this device let me down terribly. While the non-USB plugs worked fine, I do not recommend purchasing this product.
