Review on Canon VIXIA HF M30 Full HD Camcorder with 8GB Flash Memory (Discontinued): Premium Imaging and Ample Storage by Grant Galloway

Let me start by saying I don't usually give 5 stars, but this camera exceeded my expectations. The video quality is excellent. The zoom is excellent. The image stabilization is amazing. It has a button you can press to zoom it even further, and even at 15x I was able to get a very sharp image. Where the camera has really exceeded my expectations is underwater. I got the case that Canon sells for it and have been using it for diving for the past two days and it has been amazing. The quality underwater is as good as above! The camera has an underwater mode that really corrects the colors underwater. They even understand that you might want to shoot above water and give you the option to switch between underwater and above water (boat) modes with the camera in the housing. Buying a camera and underwater housing is not much more than buying a housing from other third party companies so it was tremendous value for me. Except for the touchscreen, which takes some getting used to, I can't really say anything negative. Compared to previous models like the HF100 which I also own, they have really improved a lot of issues such as: B. slow switching between modes or slowdown issues when taking photos while recording video. Def camcorder at a good price with the option to get one of the cheapest underwater housings, then this camera is for you. Even if you're not into underwater photography, this is a great camera out of the water too!
