Review on 9000 Lumens XHP70 Rechargeable LED Flashlight - Zoomable, Waterproof & Handheld For Camping/Emergency By KEPEAK by William Santos

Strong Light good for me

This is the strongest light that I've used. It exceeds all the three-battery medium sized LED flashlights I have. I have no idea about the claim of 9000 lumens, but it is bright. I use it primarily for walking my dog at night to illuminate the yard or street. On the second setting down it floods the yard quite clearly. The light has five settings, three of reducing intensities, one of strobe and one of SOS morse code, which I hope never to need. The adjustable barrel goes from broad to a tighter beam, but not as tight as my other flashlights. This is fine for my use. I do find it physically substantial in heft and size, and if I need to put a flashlight in my pocket I would tend to go with a lighter one. It did come with a rechargeable battery, plus an AAA adapter insert, so it can be used either way. Once its charged to full power, it quickly indicates that its down to a setting of three on the power after being at a full four, but the light seems quite strong at that setting. I have no idea about the waterproof claim, and so far have not used it long enough to notice much heat at the end. Overall a well made and very bright flashlight.

Pros
  • Don't forget to remove the piece of paper in the end cap. It disables the battery during shipping.
Cons
  • Bulky and heavy, making it difficult to carry around for long periods of time
