I've had this flashlight for about half a year now so I have a pretty good feel for the pros and cons in my situation. BENEFITS The light looks great on a rimless tank thanks to its ultra slim body. Profile. The tank looks nice and bright under the light. Plants with low to medium light requirements grow well. The value for money is hard to beat. sits completely flush on both sides. But it's ok, when you look at the tank you don't notice it. Not being able to add a ramp timer is a major disadvantage. I didn't think it would matter much when I bought it, but now I've found that I really wish I could turn the light on gradually and not startle the fish.
