They appear to be of better material and quality than the ones that came with the Instant Pot I bought at the discount store that starts with "C". They fit perfectly, more precisely, just like the original ring. Even with the original, you have to make sure that the ring is fully seated. I had a leak once with the original ring that came with my Instant Pot. That's when I realized the importance of letting the ring spin or spin a little after you put it on, like steering a car. If the ring slides or spins freely, it is fully installed. If not, then there's probably a tiny part of the ring that's stuck and not seating properly and needs a little extra pressure. Hope that helps. I have found that I use the same technique on these new rings and they work just like the original. The quality is just outstanding and they will probably outlive my Instant Pot.
