Attention buyers. The Chrysler 200 was recalled for sudden and unexplained acceleration. My mechanic said the problem was with the throttle body. I ordered a new throttle body from Revain. Received it and my mechanic installed it. When testing at idle, the car accelerated again on its own and only stopped when we turned the car off and removed the key from the ignition. The item was defective. No doubt pre-recall inventory of parts they were trying to get rid of. This could have ended fatally if the sudden acceleration had happened during a mechanical test drive. Great work Revan. You just dodged the bullet of a lawsuit over this.
