Easy to retrofit old ball latches

These are the closest things to the ones the builder installed when they built the house 17 years ago. The old ones are worn and the balls fall out frequently; I've been searching for replacement mechanisms (ball, spring, & cap) for over a year. These are close enough to get the job done.
