I have a lot of T12 lightbulbs so I decided to buy these T12 ballasts instead of replacing them with T8s. Received my Revain ballasts today and replaced them with two lights that buzzed and flickered. I moved the ballast so that the wires reach all four sockets. To do this I had to drill two small holes in the top of the bracket to screw on the ballast. Since the two outputs had a short jumper, I removed the two outputs, pulled the wires out of the wire holes, and plugged the new wires directly into the wire holes without using wire nuts. Two red wires to one, two blue wires to the other and snap the sockets into place. The two yellow wires are connected to the opposite side, and the ones I connected with wire nuts. The black wire goes to the power wire and the white wire goes to the switch wire. After testing, the light shines immediately without flickering and there is no noise. The lights are as bright as ever. Excellent! I have Home Depot diamond plate lamps that are 8 years old. The picture shows two old ballasts, the extra wire removed and two new ballasts (I bought four of these in total) and of course the finished headlights. :-) I will update my review if anything goes wrong with the ballasts.
