They were advertised as replacements for my old 90's ballasts but were half the size and 1/3 lighter so I was skeptical. I have a lot of T12 lightbulbs so I decided to buy these T12 ballasts instead of replacing them with T8s. Received my Revain ballasts today and replaced them with two lights that buzzed and flickered. I moved the ballast so that the wires reach all four sockets. Super easy to replace if you're a bit mechanical. These particular ballasts are smaller than the OEM ballasts I replaced. I didn't worry about drilling new mounting holes and all that. I was lucky enough to just use one of the old ballast's mounting screw holes to hold it in place. If they were contacted daily, yes, but they are not.
