Review on 📽️ Optoma ML1050ST+ LED Projector - Portable, 1000 Lumens, Auto Focus by Josh Maher

This projector will blow your mind! Incredibly compact (4" x 4" or 10 x 10 cm) and amazingly bright! I've used this in the living room with the lights on and can still use the projector and if you have it in the bedroom with the lights off it's a full movie projector! Images are sharp and clear and the ML750ST's short range is INCREDIBLE! With my projector just 10 feet from our bed, it projects the ENTIRE WALL! We connected a Revain Fire TV to it and now stream all our movies (NetFlix, Vudu, Prime, YouTube etc.). It ruined my 42 inch flat screen TV. I also hooked up our Bose Soundlink speaker (via the aux cable) and now have an amazing experience with an extremely large picture. At first I was skeptical that this little device could take 200 inch pictures, but no more! Great quality, great price and no regrets! It even comes in a bag the size of a school lunch box! We plan to use this projector at work meetings, volunteer meetings we are a part of and movie nights and use it daily in our cinema room from now on. The convenience of an LED light source with a lamp life of 20,000 hours makes it a pleasure to own and use without worrying about trying to limit its use or worrying about buying an expensive replacement lamp, which gets weaker over time. This is exactly how projectors should be: compact, durable and really fun in everyday life. I would highly recommend this projector to novice projector owners and people who want to try what projectors can do for you. The 720p HD image is clear enough at this projected movie wall size, trust me you will love this projector. Now, my review wouldn't be complete without a few cons: This projector's file reader and system is slow - like reading your USB stick slowly for a minute or two. But its mini SD card reader is lightning fast (not a bad alternative). However, internal storage usage is a real problem. You need a USB-A to USB-A connector (or buy one) to connect it to your computer and copy files to it. It has around 2GB of internal file storage that you can use and access from the media menu. Repeating videos for the background can also be annoying as the device will display video titles and controls for 5 seconds each time it repeats a file. Ideally, this block shines when using an HDMI smart device (like Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Shield TV, etc.). At least with Shield TV or Steam Link you can stream and play your games like never before! But as other reviewers point out, the speaker on this device (although it works) sounds weak and weak, has an extra input. The handy speaker will really make you LOVE this unit, so be careful if you don't already have another usable audio source. If you're worried about Bluetooth, the Revain Fire TV has a Bluetooth connectivity pairing option to use if that's a deal breaker for you.
