I bought this set of eyelets because the sweatshirt I recently bought from Revain didn't have eyelets where the cord enters the material. Beautiful sweatshirt criminally designed to fall apart prematurely. So instead of returning it or grinning and accepting that it will wear out sooner than I would like, I decided to buy a gasket set and put in some gaskets. 1/4 inch should do, I decided. Now this set doesn't offer the grommets that I have on my other hoodies, but maybe not as bad. , leather, etc.) that simply have NOT been sharpened! It won't cut through anything unless I find a way to sharpen it. More work for me! Okay, I'm a do-it-yourself guy, but this is getting ridiculous. I suppose I can put a punch in an electric drill, spin it quickly, and use a stone or file to make a sharp edge. Here's what I'll try. I hate sending things back. I'm doing this, but I'll try to make it usable. FYI, if yours is the same as mine, it won't work without a tricky punch setup. holding a cordless drill with the punch quickly inserted at an angle to the side of the rotating grinding wheel a few times (sending b cascade b the right yellow/orange sparks!) and allowing it to cool a few times, to keep my composure I have sharpened the punch so it can be used can. I should never have done this and most people won't have a bench grinder or hand drill or think of doing it. Come on, improve your game. You are lucky to get 2 stars from me.
