I have a video of two of these fans running at 20% of maximum speed on my 3D printer. At low speeds they just make a different annoying noise than at full speed. This is by far the noisiest fan in the room at any speed. And I have rack servers running about 20 feet from me that are very quiet by comparison. I didn't expect these fans to be silent. But they're nowhere near "silent" fans. I don't think I could be in the same room with them for long. Don't waste your money. If you're even a little worried about noise levels, find something else. If you run them at full speed and don't care about the noise level then I think they can handle it. I would return them but I had to cut off the connectors to use them.
