Complete garbage. NOT 1000W!

Bought for our hunting car. We have 3000 Btu AC that draws 4.1 amps max! This "1000 watt inverter" SHOULD supply 8.3 amps (1000÷120=8.33333), but it does NOTHING except go into protection mode when it draws 4.1 amps! Complete garbage. DO NOT BUY!
