Review on Timbermate American Cherry Hardwood Filler by Jason Yancy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow! What a difference to what I've been using for decades.

Wow! I've been making furniture as a hobby for decades and, like most people, have either made my own wood fillers from sawdust and glue or purchased Elmers (from the tin can to the plastic jar to the tube over the years). Canned and tin dried elms (not in tube but nozzle clogs with dried material) only filled satisfactorily and required a lot of sanding to ensure residue was removed before completion. If you've used Elmers, you know what I'm talking about. So I bought Timbermate based on the reviews even though my expectations were low. Well this product is great. It fills well, sands very easily, fits Cherry much better than Elmers (you might think differently about the product, but once it dries - bingo), and according to the manufacturer, stays usable for a long time. many years . in Australia. Good product.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...
