Original review I needed a cheap M2M cable to connect my phone to my car and it fitted the bill. I wasn't expecting the highest quality cable but was pleasantly surprised by this product. The build quality is pretty good and it fits my phone easily and comfortably, even with a case on. One Year Upgrade I reviewed this cable a year ago when I first received it and was impressed with the overall quality. After using the cable 3-5 times a week for a year, the problems started. While driving my phone moves slightly from time to time and the left stereo channel cuts out. The metal plating on the end of the cable that I connect to the phone is noticeably weaker than when the cable was first purchased. I tested a different cable to make sure the problem was with that cable and not my phone or car. Still a pretty decent cable for the price, but the durability leaves a lot to be desired. This problem should no longer occur after a year of consistent but gentle use. I have raised my rating from 5 to 4 stars.
