Review on TIC B503 8-Inch Outdoor Wireless Omnidirectional In-Ground Bluetooth 5 Speaker - Connects to Over 100 Speakers by Joe Garczynski

I was so excited to get this speaker. I was sure that this is exactly the solution I was looking for to have a simple but high quality outdoor sound system. Simply YES! High quality sound NO! I'll start with the good - easy setup, very strong Bluetooth connection, and long range. Bluetooth connected easily to my phone every time I turned it on. The speaker is loud and looks good overall. Now for the bad. The best description of the sound quality I could give would be "a tin can playing music". There was almost no bass. I actually did a comparison between this and a small Bose Sound Link Bluetooth speaker to make sure I wasn't being overly critical. I really felt the bass coming out of that tiny Bose speaker and didn't feel anything when playing the same song on the TIC. That closed the deal for me and I invested in a refund. The seller gave me no problems returning the speaker and processing my refund. Instead, I bought a GS3 that I want to connect to a Sony receiver. I will leave a separate review for this speaker. I know TIC makes high quality wired speakers, but they are not ready to play hard in the bluetooth speaker world yet.
