I am very disappointed in the quality of this item. When I unpacked the set and noticed all the moving plastic parts, I knew I'd picked the wrong part. But I decided to install anyway, which was disappointing to say the least. After installation, the latch worked perfectly, but the handle is stuck and will not return to its original position on its own. It must be rotated back to center manually. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to try to pinpoint the problem and all I can think of is that this lock set is of poor quality and workmanship. And I'm supposed to trust this piece of junk to protect me and my family? I don't think so - I return this pathetic apology for the product and leave with Schlage.
