Perfect for my needs
I agree with most of the other comments. For what I need (casual safari) it's perfect. I thought I would always need a tripod, but no. It's pretty light, great grip, very good viewfinder. I needed Zoom and I got it! The perfect companion for my Canon G16 (which I only use in low light now).
