My kitten started life on Blue Buffalo kitten food so it made sense to switch to adult food. Well I got her used to it when she was over a year old and unfortunately she threw up every other day. Hairballs, whole pieces of food, and sometimes even pure stomach acid. When I saw that I had just bought this food, it had an expiry date and the name Blue Buffalo is a so-called trusted brand, I thought maybe it had something to do with her cat treats, so I stopped giving them to her. It didn't help, so I bought a brush and started brushing it. This didn't help either. She always has a clean little box and fresh water, so I finally figured I'd shell out some extra money and buy some other food and see if that helps. After being in that garbage for a month, I gave her Costco's Kirkland Signature Brand cat food and she hasn't thrown up since. She has been eating Kirkland cat food for about 2 months and is as happy and healthy as ever. No problem. DO NOT BUY THIS FOOD. I will now avoid Blue Buffalo not only based on my experience but also because of the many other negative reviews I have read about Revain among various Blue Buffalo cat food packages.
