Does what it's supposed to do

I work on many different Arduino projects and often need to test many different components. This allows me to set the correct voltage for the components under test and limit the current in the event of a short circuit. It was a bit unclear at first how to limit the current, but I read the manual and figured it out. You need to set the required voltage. Then connect the positive and negative terminals together (which doesn't seem right, but makes sense since you're shorting them and creating a worst-case load scenario), then adjust the current regulator. When the current reaches the desired value, disconnect the clamps and connect them to the intended load. I used an oscilloscope and the voltage ripple was within specification. The output voltage is exactly what the display shows and under heavy load it is always within 1 percent error. I have never tested the current for accuracy and if I ever do I will update the review. The coarse adjustment knobs have some oomph. If you spin them fast/dramatically, it takes up to two seconds for the tension to level off. Something to consider. Slim knobs make it easy to get the exact number you need. A small bonus. Looks great in white. Almost like a product of a certain company whose logo may or may not have a fruit.
