This is not my first life bag and it will not be the last. I bought this for my daughter's birthday and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. This is a gorgeous shade of red combined with a perfectly matched grey; very stylish but "fresh"; not sticky. The design is superb, holds its shape and doesn't sag at all at the bottom. This is neither a real "hard case" nor a "soft case"; It's firm enough to stay in shape all the time, but soft enough to sag a bit on the sides. It is exactly as described and the same size as shown on the models (look at the entire listing and you will see the seller's exact size compared to the person's photos); big enough to fit essentials without being cramped, but not so big that it looks like luggage on the hip. The strap is nice and long with lots of different adjustments to find the perfect length. My daughter is 4ft 11" and it still looks amazing on her face. The zippers are smooth as usual and the inside is nicely finished and accessible. The texture is quite smooth and feels like real leather. Being artificial is always a risk with smells, but this one has nothing, nada, flash, zilch. As usual with Dasein, careful packaging is the top priority. I am seriously impressed with this part of their product. I have bought many high quality bags and none of them come delivered the same as Dasein. Dasein stuffs the inside of the bags well to keep their shape, covers all hardware with plastic sleeves, covers tassels/jewellery/trinkets with tissue paper and/or plastic covers, tie ribbons carefully to avoid wrinkling; Wrap the entire bag in tissue paper with cardboard protection on both sides, put the protected bag in a cloth dust bag, then in another plastic bag, pack the protected bag between the air bags, and then in a hard cardboard. behave; no dipped tassel ls. As they say, top drawer. I will definitely continue to buy bags from Dasein. I've seen other similar bags but with different logos/branding for less money and they just aren't the same based on reviews from others (never bought them after seeing buyers photos. big no).
