I love these stones. I am sensitive to smells and when I open the packaging there is almost no smell. I bought this for an 11 month old and the size and color are unusual for a toddler who is used to so much plastic with sounds and lights. She loves to stroke and move them. I'll teach her how to fold them. Good for eyes and spatial learning. She likes to lie down on it and run away. So this is a great imagination toy that we hope will find new uses for. I like it so much that I have invested in a larger similar product from the same seller ECR4Kids SoftZone Slide and Crawl Set. These are great toys for solo or cooperative play, adults and children. I think it's important to provide toys that allow the child to be creative in finding ways to use the item. I'm very happy with both purchases, but if you can afford Slide & Crawl, buy that too!
