Hello, I very rarely give a review. But this one annoyed me enough, I felt the need. I've bought about 13 starters and alternators from DB Electrical over the last few years, I knew about them and bought from them before they even reached Revain. I've always been glad it was a new starter or alternator and not a brunt and they seem to produce a quality product. When the starter seemed to fail and my 2007 LTR 450, I checked to see if DB had gotten into the ATV market. I was very happy to see that it was them. I ordered my starter, installed it and got good starting quality for about three and a half months. About four months after I bought it, it just died. It says there's a one-year warranty. I found her online, called her warranty department before Christmas, left them a message and a phone number assuming it's Christmas time so I'll give her some time. By August I called four more times, leaving my name, number, and message. As you can imagine, I never received an answer. Now that the warranty has expired and I can take it apart, I've noticed that the adhesive on one of the magnets has peeled off. It showed clear signs of moisture inside, which is never good for bare metal or electricity. As I said I have bought many starters and alternators from them and they still work fine. Maybe this four wheeler is one of a kind and none of the others they sell will ever make it. I understand people collect these things and sometimes things go wrong, but I have to say that probably what annoyed me the most was not answering my call. I hope this is not an indication of the quality of the product at this time. So far everything has been a great product at a great price, fast delivery, always as advertised. If the need to buy from them arises in the future I will probably do so again at least once. and frankly, apart from this starter product, it's hard to find a better product, just beware of the warranty and customer service for warranty issues won't exist.
