Overall this remote/air mouse was pleasant and comfortable to use. So why such a low rating? This remote uses a 2.4GHz dongle so you can control your PC. However, the connection between the key and the remote control breaks off from time to time. It doesn't seem related to time. If I take out the USB port key, wait a second and then plug it back in, all of a sudden the remote works again when they reconnect. This can take 10 to 30 minutes before it crashes again. So you are declaring a "bad USB port". I later bought a different brand remote that uses a USB dongle. I had no problems with it at all and it uses the same USB connector. With all this, the price for it is quite low for many, so you can make a mistake here and then replace it with another. something else if that doesn't help you. I may have just received a faulty USB stick. Probably no. At this price it's pretty obvious that these parts are so cheap to make that corners can be cut here to make them cheaper. (Note that sometimes the key doesn't come from a distant manufacturer, but from a different company, so one company may harm another, but you have no real way of knowing the real story). May I recommend you to buy it? Not really. Keep experimenting when you get a chance. Maybe luck. Why did I buy it? One button: MUTE. This is the only specific thing I need besides the basic controls from any media computer remote. Without them, the controller doesn't matter. Are there other problems? Yes. The keyboard on the back is not responding. You have to press the button and see if it is registered, wait a second and press the next. You cannot print at a realistic speed. Almost as much as they thought "the average person would 'hunt and poke' with a finger to type" and did it well enough for that. I do not know. But it definitely wasn't worth it for this feature with this resonance. All of this is my opinion on a product that I bought for my own multimedia PC needs.
