Zipper is not at the end but on the long side of the pillow!

I was looking for a pillow protector and ordered this one but it makes no sense. The zipper is down the long side of the pillow where you would lay so that it irritates your shoulder or your neck as you lay on it to sleep. A pillow protector zipper should be at the very end where it doesn’t interfere with where you lay on the pillow.
