Worked on heating, cooling and air quality for a while

Worked for a while. First the float broke; it doesn't break by itself, it just doesn't stay on its own anymore. You have to hold onto it while trying to get the collection container back. Next thing that broke was the switch that turned it off when full. You should check it every few days because after filling it will continue to flow, overflow and a puddle of water will form underneath. The electrical code connects below and I have to think that the electrical cable lying in the water basin is not good. I have other dehumidifiers that last for years. I expected a little more time from it.
