Review on 🚗 ATP Y-794 Transmission Shifter Cable for Automatic Vehicles by Chad Myers

I ordered 2 (shift cables Y794), i.e. the first shift cable The upper end of the shift cable was too small and broke. I welded jb then changed my mind and ordered another cable. . I thought it was my fault. I've been a mechanic for 40 years. The second cable was large enough to fit perfectly. I plugged in the cable and felt a click. I thought it was related. And then when I tested the switch, it came loose. If you look closely, the center of the nylon for the rubber connector has not been attached or machined. It didn't look like a transmission cable connector. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I'm surprised it was an ATP product. Vehicle: 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo.
