I ran it on low for a week and noticed there was a lot less dust under the bed. I would even say that there is no dust there; However, the rest of the room was still very dusty. I have tiles on the floor so you can see into the corners of the room straight away. Also behind the car. I ran it on 2 points and there was less dust but more noise. 3 points, less dust, more noise. I had to turn it off at night. The sound on 1 is a faint hiss, they say 28 dB. You can't hear it during the day, but it's annoying at night and I didn't like the light. It lights up my whole room. If I were looking for a night out with an air purifier, this would fill the bill. And not me. Conclusion: The higher the number, the less dust, more noise, more light. I've learned to deal with it; high during the day and off at night. * I write reviews to let you know how this product was for me. and help you decide whether to buy or not to buy.
