High quality product. Powerful and strong enough to hold on to a doorknob without moving the door. This will help my mother a lot. But it took me a minute to separate the base from the lid because it's so well made. Nobody talked about it in detail. The lid unscrews from the flat base when that makes sense. It hides the screws that attach the base to the wall or floor. Hold the protruding part to catch the magnet, place your fingers on the sides of the flat base and unscrew counterclockwise.
