Review is for: Skytech Azure Gaming PC Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8GHz, RTX 3070 8GB, 16GB DDR4 3600 - Asus PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI) Motherboard TLDR: - I definitely would recommend a Skytech PC. Solid experience and PC. Great value for money. The B550M-A motherboard should be a TUF x570 with two M2. The case is fine, but he will eventually replace it with the Cooler Master NR600 due to its high-end cooling and lack of RGB on the case. . I don't really like the Skytech RGB and the RGB logo on the case as a whole. RGB inside is perfect. An RGB backlit case is the only option to buy this PC. The PC came with a technical inspection sheet with a pen/marker to indicate that the PC was actually tested. Pleasant! Purpose and performance: - This computer is designed for both work and play and does both very easily. Even opening some really heavy/large files, this computer just shrugs. The previous PC is a Ryzen 5 1600 with a GTX 1060 6GB and is a real workhorse. He started struggling with these large files as well as some texture processing. It was good, but far below the level of this PC. I think the combination of an AMD and an nVidia processor is great for work and play. The motherboard works well, so there are no complaints. The B550M-A motherboard should be a TUF x570 with two M2 connectors. It's just a cheaper board (currently $127) compared to a great board (currently $189 for the Asus TUF x570 WI-FI). Will be replaced over time. - It only has 1 M2 slot used for the included 1TB drive. I couldn't reuse my current 1TB M2 drive. The board is also very small, with no additional PCI slots. Price: Great price for a PC. I collected all my parts to build my own and ended up only having a few hundred less than this one. I had some of the best parts (I thought they were here once) but I didn't have to assemble and set everything up either. Getting this pre-built was a definite win. Software: - No frills. It was clean! Most of the drivers were installed but I had to update the nVidia drivers (normal) and couldn't control the RGB due to the lack of Asus AURA software. So I went to the Asus website and downloaded all the files for the motherboard. I installed Asus AI Suite and Asus Armory for RGB control. Should already be installed as it was ticked in the list. I'm not deducting a star for that, as the rest of the PC is actually well set up. Appearance: Initially, I didn't like the big Skytech logo on the front of the case. I'm still at 50/50 so it would be nice if there was just an RGB strip on the left, not an RGB logo. Otherwise, the body and the details look great and very tasteful. Not too many RGB and enough. Very pretty. The cables were well zipped and neatly routed. Looks great. Noise and cooling: This PC is very quiet. I can barely hear the fans and water pump/CPU heatsink. Even if it spikes when I'm working in Blender, testing UE4, converting textures, or gaming on PC, it's mostly quiet. The InWin 103 case (especially Skytech) cools very well. The air pressure seems well balanced and the temperatures are decent. I don't really like the Skytech RGB and the RGB logo on the case as a whole. RGB inside is perfect. An RGB backlit case is the only option to buy this PC. I will most likely replace it with the CM NR600 as it is a much better case and highly efficient cooling. Other: It was shipped in excellent packaging. Nothing fell off during shipping. Excellent work! - The GPU is PNY and ultimately different from the photos. I bought a DisplayPort to HMDI adapter for my second monitor. It seems that many cards have 1 HDMI port and 3 display ports, which is no surprise. - Comes with Skytech branded mouse (decent and light) and keyboard (mechanical and heavy). The keyboard is well made but I prefer the Logitech G213 as it is wrist supported and works with LGS software. I also prefer the Logitech G602 as it seems reliable and wireless. This Skytech mouse has the same feel in your hand. I have two 500GB SATA SSDs that fit perfectly in the two slots on the case. The Skytech screws came in the box with some extras. The WI-FI antenna did not come with a way to attach it to the case. Basically it would just slip off under the weight of the cable, which is light but pulls well. I ended up using a magnetic business card to stick it to the bottom and a small knife to cut out the edges. Now it sticks magnetically to the case.
