Works as advertised - I think.

This is a nice little portable device that is easy to use. I have kayaked with him several times in murkier waters at various depths. It alerts me when there are fish around, I can tell that for sure. Unfortunately I'm just learning to catch perch and haven't caught anything yet. But it's more me than a sonar. There were several bites while trout fishing. However, this just reminds me that even if you know where the fish is, you might not catch it.
