Skirt is longer than mid-calf
I am very happy with this purchase. I bought a pioneer costume for my granddaughter. I bought a size large. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. It didn't come down to mid-calf, but down to the ankles. It was what I really wanted and from other reviews I knew it took a long time so I was okay with that. The fabric was soft and light, but not see-through at all
