We live in a two story house with a basement. Carrying my Miele canister up and down stairs is a pain, so I bought two Bissell Zing vacuums (had to find something cheap after spending so many dollars on Miele) for cleaning and spot dusting. The Bissell Zing is a fairly powerful vacuum with good suction for the price. There isn't much dust thrown back into the air, but the tools were disappointing, hence this find. I wanted a quality, soft brush that would match the Bissell Zings while retaining excellent suction. Many other gentle brushes sold at Revain complained that the brush was too soft, scratched glass and furniture, lost bristles, or the bristles were too long and pulled back into the brush. This brush has none of these problems. That's incredible. Unfortunately it does not fit the Bissell Zing or any standard vacuum cleaner. I wasn't too concerned about Bissell Zings fitting because I have vacuum tool adapters. Surprisingly, none of my adapters worked, so I made my own for just a few bucks. If you are looking for a quality brush for your standard vacuum and want to make this adapter I think you will be very happy with this brush. At a local hardware store I bought a piece of 3/4" x 2' PVC pipe and a 3/4" PVC pipe connector. I cut the PVC pipe into a piece about 9 inches long (I have a PVC pipe cutter that costs about $15 but the store will probably cut it for you). You can make your whistle shorter if you like. I used high grit sand. Paper for sanding the outside of one end of the PVC pipe. This isn't strictly necessary, but it will help this end slide easily into the vacuum hose. I attached the other end of the PVC pipe to the PVC connector and this connector fits snugly into the brush. That's all! No glue required. Simply connect two pieces of PVC tightly. It might not be aesthetically pleasing, but it works well. Hope this will be helpful.
