I liked it. The purpose of this sealing product was to fill a hole in a hiking boot. I wore them when I burned down bushes and felled trees. I felt a burning sensation in the tip of my foot on the outer edge of the boot, next to and under my toes. Then I noticed that a large ember had fallen on my boot. These shoes have not been worn very often so they are like new. I called shoe stores to see if anyone could fix it. What I heard didn't sound very promising. So I searched online for something to fix this myself. I came across this silicone at Revain. I stuffed the inside of the shoe by attaching a piece of thin cardboard to the hole inside to prevent the silicone from falling into the shoe compartment. I then filled in the top of the hole which was about 3/4" in diameter. I then placed the boot on the window where the sun was shining on it and let it dry. It worked very well. I have the shoe Worn several times. Times and nothing got into the boot around the area. It seems tight. The water didn't come through either. Where the silicone was applied doesn't irritate my foot. Nothing else gets in either this area.dark pink/purple.don't know if paint will stick to it.The shoes were practically new when I damaged them so I tried to fix them rather than throw them away.They weren't cheap shoes on sale either Walking and walking the dogs so doesn't matter if there's a bit of discoloration. This silicone did the job I wanted and is pliable. Only time will tell if it holds up. But as long as I do they since one or two I've been using it for years, it's more than I can ask for.
