There is an opening which may have allowed more air to contribute with the drying out of the glue. I like the idea behind this glue - a glue pen that makes it easy to target specific spots, and that doesn't get glued to its own cap. It works, fairly well but not perfectly. The glue is regular super glue, not the Gorilla gel, so it just gets all over the place. The pen mechanism would be way better suited to a thicker liquid that doesn't just go everywhere. However, the cap stays unattached!

PROS:- It is a step up from those "crazy" glues of yesteryear which would only give me one use and then cement itself to the cap forever. This glue seems to be the regular Gorilla Glue formula but in a container which can give out small precise amounts. Best be very careful because a lot comes out at first so use a lite touch. Then hold firm as it dries within 2 minutes.- If I replace the cap as soon as I apply the glue it doesn't harden.CONS:- I cant tell how much glue remains.

Not as easy to dispense as I’d like. You do have to be careful that too much doesn’t come out of the tubes. The glue itself sticks very quickly and strongly. Trying to get it off of your fingers or any other surface is very difficult. Even using straight as a tone doesn’t necessarily remove it from where you don’t want it to be.

I am always instant liquid glueing something and alway have it on hand. Usually I buy a multi pack at the dollar store as they seem to be a one time use. You can not see the inside of this Gorilla glue pen, all you see is the top of what looks like a standard glue tube that you screw the cap onto. This is one of those products you didn't know you needed until you use it. I always have the small tubes on hand, but to get the right amount of glue, I squeeze it onto the narrow end of a toothpick. This "pen" squeezes out the right amount. I was gluing small beads into the wells of an earring and it worked well in those tiny spaces.

This is normal super glue made by Gorilla Glue, which means it's a very good product. The product shines, however, in its applicator that is super easy to use and makes applying glue like a precision exercise. I love it and I don't expect the glue to dry up with the integrated applicator lid. Recommend.

Not sure what I got but the applicator inn mine does NOT just screw onto the bottle of glue inside the squeeze container! In fact, it doesn't hold at all! I ended up losing nearly the ENTIRE bottle on one small project because the glue just seeped out everywhere! NEVER buying this contraption again!

Nozzle did not attach firmly, so glue started leaking out from sides. Also, the orange area to press is not connected to the glue bottle well enough, so you have to apply a LOT of pressure just to get some glue flowing. Overall waste of money because you can't disassemble the hand-piece to get the glue tube out, to salvage any glue.

It delivers just what you need, and it makes less mess than the other way. The pen doesn’t clog, like it states, but you do need to hold it longer than 10 seconds, sometimes longer than 45. I do like this super glue and I've been using it for small repairs and also to help with cracked skin on my fingers as it's very dry here lately and I work with my hands a lot. Inside this large plastic packaging is a small metal tube with 6 grams of super glue. That's fine, and super glue is very inexpensive these days but the common problem is the lid gluing itself on so you can't use it again. Gorilla super glue is a really good product. This pen they provide is an absolute joke.The glue, which is a standard Gorilla super glue tube, just sits inside a housing that does nothing to secure the tube whatsoever. The trigger/button simply applies pressure to the tube inside, and like any super glue tube, glue comes out. There's no precision here, only frustration.
