I got this because I got into 3D printing, and a few of my prints were breaking at some of the more narrow points. This does an outstanding job of holding them together! I also have found many other uses for it around the house. It does a great job at fixing IKEA furniture, where the veneer starting coming loose. Just a few drops and it was back and looked as good as new. I can't complain, and I'll definitely buy more if I ever need it again.NOTE: Be sure to use gloves with this. I've seen…
I used this to repair a 20 year old plastic model of which some of the pieces had snapped in two. I found the glue to be better than the original Testors glue. The orange plastic sides are excellent, rather than squeezing a tube, make for precise, mess free application. Great design detail.Follow the directions! Less is more. All allow the glue to cure for 12 to 24 hours.
I needed to repair a garden hoe and it did the job. Now the handle and the blade are one and forever. However, once I opened the tube, it was stuck shut forever as well. Ah, the joys of super-glue.it's fortunate that it's a steal at that price because I can't use it after the initial application.
Pros
My fingertips feel wild right now. I did one small thing and know I feel like I touched Ramsay's slab.
When using super glue, a drop goes a long way. Using more than necessary severely weakens the bond. One can control the amount and placement of this product. I've even used it on plastic. With the very short time to cure, one can hold the two parts together until bonding occurs. Of course, holding parts will not cover all instances. I'm extremely impressed and recomend this glue.
I used this for gluing together broken parts of a metal statue and a metal switch cover on a plastic switch. Both held on their own after I held them together for about a minute. I left both things without touching them overnight and both are doing well.
Pros
This work very well gluing my mould casting to my items.
Bought to use on flat, broken plastic gnome (Diamond painting keychain). Worked great. My son is using it now to glue tiny plastic block houses together. The precision tip and side squeeze-things are awesome for precise use.
‘Micro’ my butt! I was using this as an extra layer to permanently close a tiny knot on a bracelet, and it doesn’t dispense what I would call a ‘micro precise’ amount of glue. But the glue itself is awesome. ***DO NOT GET THIS ON YOUR SKIN***. This is NOT the type of school glue you play with and peel easily off your fingers.
Pros
Used to repair book spine
Cons
The pack size may be too small for larger projects
Charlie the Turtle took a tumble and lost his front legs. With this glue, Charlie underwent a two minute surgical procedure to reattach his new legs. The operation was a success, the glue made everything extremely precise, and there are no noticeable seams! Good as new, and Charlie is now able to keep swimming again!
This is a really strong. The photo above is one of the things I glued together. The glass came apart from the metal part. It’s been about 2 or more weeks and it’s still glued on with no issues.
Pros
It falls short of 5 stars due to deceptive packaging. It looks like it would contain more glue
I used this to glue a piece of broken china back together.
It worked great! I was able to apply a very thin layer of adhesive and the repair was practically invisible when I was all done.
Pros
Worked perfectly for my project. Easy to get right amount dispensed.
Cons
This products does not adhere to the item you try to glue to it is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!
Have uses for various items and worked like a charm. On a thin piece of plastic arm, Once set I left it alone for a few days. Saved me from buying a new one at $260 (was a car part). Used on wood, excellent. And on ceramic, a piece of a statue broke off. Even though the pieces didn’t match up, splinters were missing from inside, the glue "filled” and it set perfectly.
Glue gooed everywhere and now the lid is glued on itself after one use and will not come off. So I guess it does work. I will try a different brand next time.
Pros
Very easy to use and the best adhesive available. Can't go wrong.
Was using this for car model, and squeezed one drop onto the part. As I pressed the parts together some of the glue got onto my skin. I instantly went to wash my hands with water but few of the glue stayed on my fingers along with the paper tissues I used to dry my hands. Yes I know there is instruction but, in a world that not many ppl read instructions, from the packaging the product appears to be one of those "easy for beginners." Threw this away right after this mass.
Pros
Holds really well. So far tip has not sealed itself closed.
Some gremlins recently got a hold of my Schecter Omen Extreme 6 electric guitar and popped up a couple of fret wires. This caused notes played at said frets to get choked out. In a "Why the HECK did I do that!?" moment, I took a soft mallet and tried whacking the frets back down. Not only did it not work it popped up a few more frets.Learning on YouTube that you can superglue fret wires back down, I got this superglue because it's not a gel, and because of the "Precise" applicator tip. I've…
Pros
Love, love, love! So easy to use and control. Very clear and simple instructions.
Cons
May require multiple applications for a strong bond
Gorilla glue works extremely fast. So, you need the get the placement of the item you want to repair correct within the first couple of tries. That's how fast it works.
