The original reason I ordered this was because I bought a Jeecoo headset that had a splitter that used one end for the mic and the other end for the headphones would have. The headset collected a lot of static. and someone said that most of the connectors on the front of the computer case are of poor quality and this is a common problem. Sounds like a long shot but I figured if I buy this external sound card I can either have a working headset or know for sure if it was the ports or the splitter that went bad. It turned out to be a splinter. Luckily I ordered this with a Sades wired USB headset. This card allows you to manually switch between speakers or headphones without having to unplug all your devices. It looks good and is quite durable. I didn't have to update or download any drivers, just plug and play. Braided cable is also ideal for preventing cables from being easily damaged. I definitely recommend buying this product.
