I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 just because I haven't used them much and haven't washed them yet, but at first glance they seem to be a good quality product. They are sewn on both sides, symmetrical, sufficiently elastic and sewn well. Not sure what everyone with unprotected ends is talking about unless they received a defective batch or Ebay replaced them with Chinese made junk. Mine even came with removable white filter pads that fit in an inside pocket. However, there is no way to be 100% sure they are made in the USA other than taking the seller at their word. I don't trust Ebay to be honest with this kind of information. They make too much money off Chinese products and try to hide where they are made. I used to suggest them to buy a US made filter but they didn't think it was a good idea. Obviously, a desire to support fellow Americans is racist or xenophobic towards their leadership.
