Bought it for my wife for Mother's Day because she likes to do handicrafts. So far the LaserPecker Pro has worked great, my wife did a lot of sketching on corrugated cardboard to get used to the machine and the different settings and functions. This machine is very versatile and perfect for hobbyists. What can you expect from such a compact and inexpensive laser engraver: it's slow, but it handles detail well; it converts personal images into graphics ready for laser engraving and allows for some limited image adjustments; allows you to scale images; and much more. I recommend buying additional laser safety goggles, if more than one person is watching the engraving at the same time, use them in a well-ventilated but not too windy area. The LaserPecker Pro generates smoke during engraving, and the built-in fan gently blows the smoke away from the workpiece, but it will stay indoors if the room is not ventilated, but if the wind is too strong, the workpiece may be blown away during engraving or shifted if the workpiece is light, e.g. B. a rough engraving on cardboard. I bought a kit that includes laser safety goggles and a protective shield that can be placed around the machine but depending on the material type may limit the size of the workpiece to fit in the shield.
