Review on Manfrotto 158 8 Inch Adapter Converts by Michelle Watson

The adapter is made of thick aluminum and appears to be a strong alloy. The set screw has a slotted head and I would like Manfrotto to use a hex socket to minimize the risk of damaging the threads when turning. The handle for the other screw is also plastic and I'm sure it will last a long time, but it doesn't look like a Manfrotto to me. Works but doesn't feel premium.
